Steve Combs, JD

Steve is an Attorney who practices in the areas of Corporate and Small Business Law; Contract Management and Drafting; Real Estate Law; Civil Litigation; Wills, Trusts and Estate Planning; and Tax Law. He graduated from North Carolina Central University Law School. He received a MBA from the Lundy-Fetterman School of Business at Campbell University. He has an undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University.

Prior to going into private practice, Steve worked in the Business Sector in Corporate Finance. He participated in several equity fund raising offerings for local public companies which raised in excess of $300 million. He managed the Corporate reporting to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for one local company. He also assisted that company with compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley. He has also managed a Real Estate investment company.

Steve serves on the Board of Directors of ReEntry Inc. and he is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association and North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants

Steve Combs attends Hope Chapel in Apex, North Carolina. When is not traveling out of town, he has been seen on local soccer and football fields on the weekends.

George S. Parker, JD

George is an Attorney who practices in the areas of Estate Planning; Asset Protection; Medicaid and Veterans Benefits; Tenant-Landlord Law; and Child Support. He graduated from George Mason University School of Law. He has undergraduate degrees in Political Science and Philosophy from North Carolina State University.

Prior to working for Combs & Associates, George worked for The Estate Planning & Elder Law Firm in Arlington, Virginia and Legal Services of Northern Virginia in Fairfax, Virginia.

When not in the office, George volunteers as a Judge for the Capital Area Teen Court youth diversion program and also works as a court-appointed Child Support attorney.

George is an Eagle Scout and enjoys spending the weekends hiking at William B. Umstead State Park or on the Appalachian Trail.

Michael J. Sonntag, JD

Michael is an attorney who practices in Real Estate Law. He graduated from Michigan State University College of Law with concentrations in Business Law and Intellectual Property Law. He has undergraduate degrees in Political Science and Public Policy Analysis from the University of North Carolina.

Prior to working for Combs & Associates, Michael worked for the Legal Affairs Team at the National Collegiate Athletic Association and for the Office of the General Counsel at Michigan State University.

When not in the office, Michael volunteers as a youth soccer coach in Chapel Hill. He loves spending his weekends on the soccer field and watching Tar Heel basketball.
